Science and Research Work
Science and Research work of the RCA Vladivostok Branch is aimed at obtaining and putting to practice the new knowledge in process of solving the issues related to customs, economy, law, statistics etc. Its achievements prove to be useful in the customs staff training at various levels.
Objectives
- To carry out the R&D activities in order to form a new system of knowledge relevant in customs training and related areas of education within the Russian Customs System;
- To develop and prove the innovative methods of teaching and making quality textbooks;
- To carry out expert analysis;
- To computerize the educational and academic processes and create the uniform informational and educational environment;
- To involve able and prominent students into graduate and post-graduate programs and teaching and research activities;
- To involve customs officers with the research and provide assistance if necessary.
- To carry out joint research projects with other research centers and organizations and take part in scientific conferences and students exchange programs both in Russia and internationally;
- To attract foreign investments for research projects;
- To form the new scientifically oriented structures providing the link between the science and research on one side, and customs practices, the needs of the governing bodies, the domestic economy, citizens and foreign traders, on the other.
